MentalBlocks Throwing Mental Blocks at Glass Constructions   Tuesday, December 23, 2003   The last couple of months have been very good to the Coalition of the Willing, but Al Qaeda has been put into a "use it or lose it" situation. If they can attack the continental United States, they must attack CONUS. If they do not, they will be facing a general belief among Arabs that they are a spent force, impotent against the U.S. Army. As this blog entry states, there have been rumors leaking out of the intelligence community and the jihadist websites ever since Thanksgiving week that there will be an attack, possibly involving hijacked cargo planes or bomb-laden shipping containers. But just in the last few days, somebody seems to have gotten some more specific information about the launch of an Al Qaeda operation. They're on the way, right now. I'm traveling this week, mostly to fairly out-of-the-way locations, so I should be OK. But by the very definition of terrorism, there's an awful lot of people in harm's way right now. There's a good hope that the feds will snag most of the attack teams, but it's very difficult to be sure of getting every cell. God help us all. 10:21 AM
